Grab-bag of fannish and real-life elements -- or both, of course, considering history

Good morning to you, although I'm really rolling my eyes for this reason. (The vineyard peaches, however, do taste like it, and I shall have them for breakfast.)

Yesterday, I spent twenty minutes of my life looking at the "Colton Haynes" tag on tumblr. Boy has his own tag on my tumblr now. Send help. (I would say, "or him", but he seems to be queer: although he has supposedly confirmed it at some point, I don't want to link to gossip pages. But three minutes of googling will give you the bio, background, and respective photos. Queer boys and straight girls: can I pick them, or can I pick them?)

Everything You've Always Wanted To Know About Medieval Western Libraries But Were Not Enough Of A History Buffy To Ask, by [personal profile] enname. Okay, fine, that's my own title, not hers. ;)

Total must-read if you dig libraries, the Middle Ages, or of course knowing where a lot of us come from, culturally and historically.

[personal profile] selenak writes what could totally serve as a little primer on the upcoming show 'Political Animals'.

Which I must absolutely watch. [personal profile] ciderpress, [personal profile] trille, stop laughing. (They are of the firm belief I only watch "shows with a lot of female characters". It's true I would prefer a more realistic -- heh -- take on the representation of the sexes in genre tv, but my big tv fandoms rarely ever fall into this category: SGA never qualified, and even Fringe doesn't make it further than so-so land. And as you know, Bob, quota ain't quality: The Vampire Diaries, when I stopped watching, did perfectly fine number-wise...just not treatment-wise.)

Still have a lot more to talk about. But now I'm scheduled for a Skype chat with my sister in faraway Sydney first. :)

I'm really looking forward to Political Animals. Looks pretty great, and I absolutely love Sigourney Weaver; it'll be nice to see her on a show like this.

No, that is most certainly not the title I gave it. :P You are much better at titles than me though - I am surprised I don't just list all my blogs as '1, 2, 3' etc.

Too kind!
