When I compiled my quality, not quantity! list of fanfic written in 2007, I forgot the first story written that year, and one of my two femslash offerings, at that: Twenty-One, Alias, rated R.

I am totally working.

If I were the type to do resolutions, I'd work on my time management. Actually, my sister gave me a self-help book, It's Hard To Make a Difference When You Can't Find Your Keys, but I misplaced it temporarily...okay, fine; it's right here. I just--the thing about self-help books is not reading them, as quite a few folks seem to think: I can read with the best of 'em, but it's all about implementing whatever you read. And that? Takes time, energy. Getting truly, deeply involved. & :-/

Speaking of: Congrats to Barack Obama (who is a near'n dear Twitter pal of mine, of course). My mother was talking about her love for Hillary over Christmas; I then spent about an hour telling her about the US as I saw 'em--issues, facts, and emotions, and in the end my mother blinked, nodded thoughtfully, and said, "Well, it's all a bit more complicated than we think, isn't it?" Oh, Mama, how I love it when you sum up European realisations thus briefly.

Back to the task at hand. (At least I have a 2003 Valley Oaks Zinfandel here.)
