BtVS - Xander/Willow, for kangeiko
Unlike her parents and all the teachers, she never sees the ill-fitting clothes, the awkward angles of his ABCs, but then, she's too preoccupied with the big, bright smile in his eyes that overshadows the small bruise on his jaw.
Sandman - Morpheus/Thessaly, for selenak:
Her new incarnation is both foreign and familiar, the diminutive, drab form a stark contrast to the low hum of power it conceals--power that ebbs and flows like the tides yet always, always seems to pull him in.

A faintly ironic notion, as Jack has never shown any interest in either the concept or the facets of faith, but as long as he's right here, just by his side, it feels very much like a benediction.

In retrospect, it hadn't been all that wise to take her to his apartment, let alone to take her to bed...which, as a euphemism, had never seemed more ill-fitting, both because she did most of the taking and because his shower could hardly be mistaken for a bed.
