Two House Drabbles
Before I go to bed, two House drabbles written on the plane.
Set in Season Three:
It strikes him at inopportune, completely annoying times. If he said it out loud, he'd get either a snort or nod, depending on the person.
He doesn't care the least for either—equally idiotic—so he keeps it to himself.
But when he glances over at him standing by the window, he can't help the thought: beautiful. Because when he turns his head, the last rays of the evening sun frame his head with a halo of gold, and the irony of that image isn't lost on him.
He's no angel, himself. Perhaps that's why he'd follow House into hell.
(for
synecdochic, prompt: "House and Chase: sunlight in hair, a turned head. What's your secret weapon? Will it set us free? Holy thin white curse, use my love, it's yours.")
Set in Season Four:
"Come on, forget engagement partying--we could make it a real German Polterabend! Smash dishes like it's 1899!"
"House...."
"By which I obviously mean Cameron and Chase's fine bone china. Never understood using old dishes to be thrown away. Where's the fun in breaking things that don't matter to you?"

In Cuddy's office, he's still torn between frustration and boyish glee.
"In conclusion, if Cameron wore pigtails, House would be pulling them."
Cuddy looks back over her shoulder, does that thing with her eyebrows Wilson only ever notices when he can't see her cleavage.
"50/50 chance, and you still missed."
(for
honeymink, prompt: "Cuddy and Wilson must hold back House from sabotaging Chase's and Cameron's engagement party. However, let me stress that I'm not a House/Cameron fangirl, if anything it was the House/Chase angle for me.")
