Oh, Gmail ads. Occasionally, you are amusing. This is not the case today.

FatLoss4Idiots.com - I lost 9 lbs. in 11 days, just by following these 10 simple rules.
I can deal with tiny virtual robots wrongfully thinking I was either fat or wanted to lose weight -- they are most likely used to all these thinspiration images & shots of America's/Germany's/Azerbeijan's Next Top Models on the web -- but that they consider me stupid is food for thought. Unpalatable food for thought.

The reason I saw this? I've been been tinkering with my CV for the last two hours; thanks to [info]the4ts the Londoner looking over it. & :-)

Speaking of life & lessons learned, and hush, I know that's an awkward segue, [info]thassalia is reviving the What I've Learned From TV meme.

1. After your murder, being resurrected by your childhood sweetheart really ain't all resurrection is cracked up to be.

2. Rich girls on the Upper East Side would totally make your Mean Girls From Highschool cry, have all their lunch money taken, and make them drink water and eat stale bread instead of champagne and caviar. Truly terrible.

3. If The Doctor isn't around, don't mope: become him.

Almost unrelatedly but since we were talking about Eastern Europe/almost Middle East and reality show competitions, here's a link to the third runner up on Afghan Idol, Lima Sahar.

The mean girls at your high school had champagne and caviar? Thinking back to 1996, I remember rice and carrots and the occasional trip to McDonalds. But then I must admit, I was Gretchen Wieners. (Although my father didn't invent Toaster Strudel.)

Afghan Star! Hah.

I'm just being facetious and drawing upon stereotypes; I had no real experience with Mean Girls at my high schools -- in the US, they were non-existent or at least invisible to me, and in Germany, all my fierce and terrible battles and were with certain Mean Boys. Grr.

But the Upper East Side has caviar and champagne! So sez TV. & ;-)
