- For the ones who've wondered like me: Yes, you can store 35% vol. liquor (Ponche Caballero my sister brought me from Spain) in the freezer without the water within turning solid or shattering the bottle. I wish I knew the exact volume percentage of alcohol necessary but couldn't find it on the net.
