Trek drabble - response

Aug. 10th, 2009 | 02:23 am

Star Trek drabble (100 words). K/U/S. Rated, hmm, PG for a non-standard-for-Earth-in-2009 relationship?

Condensation chills his fingertips when he drags them down the glass. )

For the fanfic readers only

Jul. 30th, 2009 | 11:32 pm

I know I'm a great big disappointment to some of you because I don't end up writing your prompts, I know. But. Now I am actually on va-cay-shun and have time, as opposed to a job where I leave the house at 9 and come home at 10, y'know? Plus, the netbook will help. ♥
Give me a - specific and/or detailed, please - prompt (words, sounds, images), and I'll try my luck with a drabble or ficlet.

Fandoms: anything I've seen a good deal of or talk about in this lj is fair game.
You can also just slap a link to an earlier prompt of yours into the comment section. Um.

Fandoms: SGA, Star Trek, The Mentalist (what?), True Blood, and...well, feel free to try any other show I know well. & ;-)

Two - well, three? - SGA drabbles (John/Rodney, PG-13)

Jun. 27th, 2009 | 02:22 am

Lo and behold, I wrote two drabbles for [info]mcshep_match. I know. Check those pigs for wing stubs already.

Marines' quarters? Pretty much the last place John would've looked for Rodney. )

Second drabble only works as a set - I jumped on poor [info]rustler's contribution and wrote a companion piece:

Rodney should hate sex, but he can't./John should love sex, but he can't. )

The Bad )

The Good

This my country (with the exception of the florist industry and the chocolate-makers) doesn't really celebrate this day, thank God and the heavenly host, but I got so many happy-making Valentine messages via valentinr from y'all! Responses to all of them under the cut )

Thanks so much!

And finally, just under the wire, here's a li'l drabble for [info]halfamoon:

Fandom: Life

Drive-by drabble

No, I still haven't seen Quarantine, girls and boys (boy?), but this came up while I was making tea. Now I'm off to the mega hardware store for a new desk lamp (and wish me luck regarding its transport on my bike).

Returned home after a trip to my various friends in my uni city. Operation: Be Social After The Written Is Over! is totally a-go. Pictures and details may follow, but for now, back to preparing tomorrow morning's panel presentation.

That said, I still have this SGA drabble here that I wrote a bit ago.

Ep tag + icon (from The Seer, but really, they look at each other like this ALL THE TIME!)

Dec. 4th, 2007 | 01:56 am

I watched SGA 8x09Miller's Crossing today after my first day at the new place.

Have read all the post-ep fanfic but not a single review or analysis yet, as I want to post mine unbiased. Tomorrow, then: Rome, built, day.

That said, do have this tiny Millers Crossing episode tag. [info]ciderpress kindly looked this over (but could unfortunately not be pressured into writing fanfic herself).

1 1/2 drabble. McShep. Rated R. )

Drabble Meme

Oct. 8th, 2007 | 03:28 pm

Already studied a few pages and am off for some lessons now. Safe to say I'll want to do something else afterwards. As I need to flex my writing muscles to finally continue with Ard ASAP,

feel free to give me a drabble prompt.

Stargate Atlantis, Heroes, House M.D., Dexter, and Ugly Betty come to mind, but I might pick up my older fandoms, too, if the prompt is inspiring. Depending on the number of prompts, I cannot promise I'll get to all of them, but I'll try.

Apart from pairing or character, be specific, please? One-word prompts and very general concepts don't usually work for me; poems, sentences, a set of three words, an image etc. pp. do.

She was sharing Sharon's outlook on the topic of disease

Mar. 9th, 2007 | 11:09 pm

Friday night, and I'm home alone. By tomorrow, I'll no doubt be less dead and bother [info]witchsis or [info]grundbuch or the old friendsfolk, but tonight I was happy to just be able to sit back, read the friendslist, and ponder fandom. Which I love, whom I love.

[info]thassalia gives us some sweet and true thoughts about International Women's Day & fandom.

[info]chase820 and I talk about House M.D., Why We Ship Them All, and that mindgames are where it's at. (Also that Chase -- the doctor not the fellow LJ fan, although I'm sure it's true for her, too -- is pretty.)

Icon fans, go vote in this round of the [info]sheppard_lims contest. If you like.

And, since I have computer access even though I am not in my own apartment right now, I won't share my five fave stories of my own with you but my five fave drabbles )
