Friday night, and I'm home alone. By tomorrow, I'll no doubt be less dead and bother witchsis or grundbuch or the old friendsfolk, but tonight I was happy to just be able to sit back, read the friendslist, and ponder fandom. Which I love, whom I love.

In other – much more important but also much more anxiety-inducing – news, it seems several US States' voting computers have broken down. Indiana, Ohio, notably East Cleveland. Shortly after the election started, there were already 250 notifications about issues with the voting process. (Spiegel Online citing phw/AFP/AP/reuters/dpa)

LJ is still slow as molasses and wonky. *miffed* We Europeans – and Asians, and Australians – All of us lost a whole frakkin' day.

Went and took photos of the City by Night afterwards -- he needs 'em for a friend and shoving them in the faces of the people he'll meet in the capital of a certain country; I'll share as soon as he hands them over (because they were like postcards, only better).
