In BtVS news, nwhepcat is doing daily drabbles in her LJ. I'm reading with great delight.

I have some thoughts on the BtVS wank -- yeah, yeah, I looked around for the bits and pieces because I'm too curious for my (or anyone's) good -- but am well aware of the fact fandom hardly needs me weighing in, especially a fandom where I'm not active anymore. In any case, I'd wait till all the smart and sensible people have said their part; this way I can be lazy and just point & link.

Not that the result didn't make me snort: Of course the honest answer to the effect that one will instantly and immediately share the great deeds done means that person is modest, and stating quite clearly that one prefers to meet new people and talk to strangers at parties can only mean desperate, wet-palmed shyness.

Today, by the way, was a good day. A day where I thought, "I get to do what I'm good at, finally, finally" and also, "Yum!" because they served all of us a lovely lunch of pork medallions with potato gratin and lamb's lettuce -- with mousse au chocolat for dessert! -- at the office. I may also have eaten crispy toast with some lovely French goat's cheese for dinner: très francais, n'est-ce pas?

Did the reading. Must now do the pondering for tomorrow's lessons in Yet More Stuff That Always Made Me Go 'Huh?'. But before that, I must share:

Today's li'l five-hour exam? Went swimmingly -- in that Hobbit-Not-From-The-Shores-Of-The-Brandywine way. I have no LOTR icon. Why do I not have a LOTR icon? ...ah, rectified.

Writing this my Faith drabble, I realised that there don't seem to be any BtVS Drabble communities on LJ -- only challenges, which FORBID independent entries (pfft. See me not join).
Now, can that be right? Or did I just miss the place where one posts BtVS drabbles these days?
